What we collect

Account details: your name, email address, and — if you give it — your mobile number and city. Your password is stored only as a secure hash; we can never see it.
Your ads: vehicle details, price, location, description, photos and the contact number you choose to show. We remove hidden metadata (including GPS location) from photos when you upload them.
Messages: the messages you send and receive on QuettaWheels chat. Only you and the other person in the conversation can read them; our moderators may read a conversation if one of you reports it.
Contact activity: when a logged-in user views a seller’s phone number, we record which account viewed which ad and when. This protects sellers from number-scraping and shows sellers how much interest their ad gets (as a count, not names).
Enquiries: what you send through our contact or “Get on-road price” forms.
Technical data: your IP address and a session cookie that keeps you logged in. We use them for security, spam prevention and rate limits.

Everyone can see your published ads, without your phone number.
Your phone number is shown only to logged-in users who click “Show phone number”, and only if you turned that option on.
Other users see only your first name in chats and on ads.
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only when the law requires it.

Edit your profile, turn your phone number off for any ad, or delete ads at any time from your account.
Block or report anyone in a chat.
